Why Our Work Matters

In Kuwait, an estimated five cats are abandoned every two hours — many injured, sick, or left to survive in harsh desert conditions with no protective laws in place.

Without intervention, most won’t survive. But with the right partnerships, each one can have a chance at safety, health, and love.

The Fur Seasons focuses on intentional rescue: small, manageable groups of cats, vetted overseas and transported to our sanctuary for healing, rest, and adoption.

    From rescue to royalty — now king of the McGuire home.

    Rescued twice before finally finding safety with Angels with Paw Prints. His journey was delayed by COVID, but when he finally landed in Wisconsin, he curled up in our founder’s hand and didn’t let go. Today, he’s the king of the McGuire home.

Today, this British Shorthair beauty is thriving as her true self — sweet, playful, endlessly lovable, and forever iconic with her ‘resting sass face.’ She’s not just adored… she’s celebrated.

  • Shafi (Mochi) Home at Last

    From sensitive soul to squishy superstar.

    Once a cautious soul, Shafi arrived from Kuwait with a plush silver coat and watchful green eyes. Today, as Mochi—‘Momo’ to his family—he’s transformed into a squishy superstar. Playful, silly, and endlessly affectionate, he races after spring toys, kneads his blanket with giant stompers, and showers his mom with snuggles. Sensitive at heart, but now safe and adored, Mochi is living his sweetest life

  • Expand sanctuary space, intake healing rooms, enrichment opportunities and rescue best practices for medical care for stressed, special-needs and medically fragile cats

  • Launch a Rainbow Bridge resource microsite for community support with pet loss

  • Increase flight capacity for rescues from Kuwait

  • Grow community education and surrender prevention efforts
