Edgar’s story begins on the streets of Kuwait—lonely, matted, and looking for more than just food. When a delivery driver stopped to offer help, Edgar didn’t hesitate. He jumped right into the car, as if to say, “Let’s go home.” And that’s what we’ve been working on ever since—giving this beautiful, affectionate boy the fresh start he deserves.

His Personality:

Edgar is sweet, social, and full of love. Once a little hesitant and confused, he’s blossomed into a total people-cat. He now greets you at the door, reaches out for attention, and leans right into every pet, cuddle, and kind word. Whether he's curled up on your chest, lounging in your lap, or sitting upright and regal like a little lion, Edgar brings warmth and comfort wherever he goes.

He loves being carried, held, and doted on—and if you’re holding a Churu, he’ll stand on two legs like a gentleman to politely ask for it. He’s also playful and curious, with a particular love for wand toys and window-watching. He’s equal parts couch companion and joyful explorer.

His Journey:

When Edgar arrived, his coat was a tangled reminder of how long he’d been fending for himself. But underneath all that? A heart full of hope. He’s since been professionally groomed, medically vetted, and given all the love we could offer at The Fur Seasons. And now he’s ready to find his forever—a place where he never has to wonder if he belongs again.

Edgar is confident and friendly with other cats and has shown an easygoing, sociable nature around both humans and felines. He’s an ideal match for a wide range of homes—from first-time adopters to experienced cat lovers—and would thrive as a solo prince or a respectful member of a multi-cat household. Calm homes, homes with gentle kids, and anywhere with a warm lap and a little patience will make Edgar purr with happiness.

Rescue Story

The driver was out on a delivery when he spotted this beautiful cat on the street. He stopped to offer some food but Edgar wasn’t looking for a meal. What he really wanted was love. He followed the driver to the car and jumped right in, like he knew help had arrived. The driver sent us photos and asked if we could take him in. With a face like his, how could we say no? There was no way we were putting him back on the street. Edgar was severely matted from being out there for quite some time. He went for a full grooming and a fresh start.
