The Fur Seasons is NOT a surrender shelter. Please do not abandon animals at our rescue. We are not equipped to manage intake of surprise guests. We operate as a rescue that has planned intake schedules of planned incoming feline guests.

We are happy to assist you in finding resources and infromation for surrender if you are unable. We will gladly take the time to connect you to any and all resources available to us to help ensure the most beneficial and safe resolution for a surrendered feline. Abandoning them or dropping them off at our door is not something that generally helps the cat in question.

Our rescue is equipped with video surveillance that captures all external activity at our property front and rear. Those abandoning animals on our property will be subject to any footage being turned over to local authorities. We will prosecute to the fullest extent of the law.

We are happy to connect you with resources and potential options and do empathize with these types of siutuations. There is a right way and a wrong way to surrender a pet.
