Hugg - Adopted 10-10-25

Lap lover. Goofy sidekick. Classic orange-cat chaos.

Nicknamed “Hugg the Thugg” by staff for his silly antics, this boy is the definition of orange-cat energy: affectionate, curious, mischievous, and totally devoted to his people. He greets you with meows and outstretched paws, begging for pets, and once he’s in your lap, he’s perfectly content to stay put, purring away.

His Personality:

Hugg is affectionate, vocal, and people-oriented, thriving on attention and interaction. He’s a lap cat who also loves playtime—wand toys, treats, chin scratches, and cuddle sessions are his love language. And true to his orange-cat reputation, he’s got a goofy streak—staff often catch him trying to “break out” of his sanctuary room just to see what’s on the other side.

His Journey:

Since arriving at The Fur Seasons, Hugg has kept everyone entertained with his big heart and bigger personality. He’s shown himself to be both a devoted cuddle buddy and a hilarious troublemaker, bringing joy wherever he goes.

Social Style:

Confident and social, Hugg gets along well with other cats but would also thrive as the solo star. He adapts quickly and just wants to be near his people, whether that means snuggles on the couch or following you from room to room.

Ideal Match:

Hugg would thrive in a first-time or experienced cat home, with or without respectful kids, and especially in a home that appreciates the full orange-cat package: affectionate, playful, and a little bit extra.

Why Hugg?

Because he’s the ultimate orange kitty—loving, funny, mischievous, and endlessly endearing. Hugg isn’t just looking for a home; he’s looking for his humans to adore, cuddle, and occasionally prank with his escape-artist antics. Trying to leave the house with Hugg around can be a challenge because he’ll look at you with melting eyes that say, “Don’t go.”

Rescue Story

When we lost our beloved Harley, the pain was excruciating. Every step through the world felt heavy and our hearts were shattered. We didn’t know how to move forward but we knew we had to find a way to honor him. So, in the middle of our grief, we set out with one hope - to rescue a cat in Harley’s memory, believing that saving a life might help us survive the pain of losing him.

We went to many places that day searching without knowing exactly what we were looking for. We kept asking Harley to send us a message that he’s around and can feel our pain and our love for him. And then as if guided by fate Hugg appeared. Out of nowhere came this ginger-and-white boy - the same colors as Harley - gentle, affectionate and full of love. He leaned into us as if he had been sent for that exact moment, as if Harley himself had led him to us.

In that instant, we knew this was no coincidence. Hugg was a gift - a hug from heaven sent to remind us that love never disappears, it only changes form. That’s how he got his name: Hugg (via Angels with Paw Prints-Kuwait).
