Maroshka’s story begins on the streets of Kuwait—one of those blistering hot days when survival itself is a struggle. She was found curled against a doorway, trying to soak up the faint whisper of cool air escaping beneath it. The moment rescuers reached for her, she purred so hard her whole body shook, leaning in like she already knew she was safe. Abandoned by a worker and left to face the noise and heat alone, she clung to her rescuers—and they clung right back. From that day forward, she’s never had to wonder if someone cares. Her Personality:

Maroshka is equal parts sweetness and playfulness. She’s a total purr machine who starts rumbling the moment you sit nearby, and once she trusts you, she melts into your lap with joy. Her toy collection is her pride—if it rolls, crinkles, or dangles, it’s hers. She loves chin scratches, quiet window-watching, and cozy spots where she can curl up and feel safe.

At first, she can be a little shy, watching quietly and moving at her own pace. But patience pays off—she blossoms into a gentle, loving lap cat who radiates warmth and affection.

Her Journey:

Maroshka came to us with an old eye injury that doesn’t affect her life or her vision it seems and doesn’t slow her down one bit. She’s been given thorough veterinary care, a soft place to land, and all the love we can offer at The Fur Seasons. What she’s ready for now is a forever home where she can give that love back.

Social Style:

She plays gently with other cats and enjoys calm environments where she can feel secure. Quick movements can make her nervous, but with respect and patience, she shines. She’s best suited for a patient adopter, a calm home, and could do well with gentle children who understand her needs.
