Karma
When she arrived, she was trembling, her big eyes clouded with fear. At first, she hid, watching us from a distance, unsure if she could trust again. But with patience, love, and the promise of safety, she began to heal. She took small steps, accepting gentle pets, purring softly, and seeking affection she once feared was gone forever. Now, she is a completely different cat. She climbs into our lap and settles in like she owns it. And if we try to move? She meows in protest, making it clear that she’s staying right where she is. And speaking of treats, she lives for them. Shake a bag, and she appears like magic. Show her a churro treat and she will show you she is ready for her well-earned snack.
Rescue Story
She was once just another kitten in a breeder’s care, waiting for a family to choose her. When her first family took her home, they had dreams of love and companionship. At first, she was adored, cuddled, played with, cherished. She was unaware that their love would fade. As time passed, they became busy. The excitement of having a kitten wore off, and she became an afterthought. The pets and head rubs grew scarce. The quiet evenings filled with purrs became fewer and fewer. One day, they decided they no longer had space for her in their lives and hearts. And just like that, she was unwanted and was about to be dumped on the street. When we heard about her, we couldn’t ignore her story. She wasn’t just a cat in need, she was a soul left behind, confused and heartbroken. She didn’t understand why she had lost her home, why she had been abandoned. She may have started her life as someone’s afterthought, but today, she is the heart of our foster. Loved, spoiled, and absolutely thriving- exactly as she deserves.
