Rescue Story

We were on our way to grab some food when everything changed. Just as we started driving, a little ball of fluff ran across the street and disappeared under some parked cars. Our hearts stopped. Without thinking, we pulled over and called out softly “pst pst”. To our surprise, she ran straight into our arms, purring like she had been waiting for us all along. No crate, no hesitation, we scooped her up and drove straight to our foster home. Lunch? Completely forgotten. She sat quietly the whole ride, purring nonstop. She felt safe. But we had no idea just how much she needed saving. At her spay appointment, we got heartbreaking news- Porscha had pyometra, a dangerous life- threatening infection in her uterus. Inside her tiny body were three unborn kittens who hadn’t made it. The infection was spreading fast. If she hadn’t been rescued when she was, she wouldn’t have survived much longer. But Porscha is a fighter! She got the treatment she needed just in time. Now, she’s safe, healthy, and surrounded by love. She’s getting a second chance at the life she almost lost- one filled with warmth, care, and hopefully, a forever home. (Angels with PawPrints-Kuwait)
