Rescue Story

My family abandoned me in a terrifying place surrounded by cars speeding by. I was exhausted and scared, so I found a spot to rest- right next to the pavement at a drive-through. It wasn’t safe, but I had nowhere else to go. Then one day, everything changed. Mom says she felt a powerful urge to go to that drive-through, and I think my guardian angel must have sent her to me. As she pulled up to pay, she spotted me, but she wasn’t sure if I was even a cat because I was so tightly curled up by a pipe. All she saw was a bit of fluff. She says I was in such a dangerous spot, and I could have easily been hit by any car! She parked her car far away from me and got out to see what I was. Her instincts were right! She went straight to me and picked me up, and I was overjoyed to finally feel some love. She even asked around the shop to see if anyone knew my story and I followed her everywhere she went. I knew right away that she wouldn’t leave me behind and I fell in love with her the moment I saw her! She carried me to the car, and I enjoyed every minute of the ride to my new home. When we arrived, I was amazed! It was a place full of cat trees, cozy beds, delicious food, and fresh water. I felt safe and loved instantly. I climbed the cat tree, had a tasty meal, and took the best, most relaxing nap I’d had in ages.
